We're seeking a special Occupational Therapist. Someone who is passionately devoted to neurodiversity affirming therapy and supporting families in whatever way works for them. We're all about play based, child led experiences, with a focus on our clients' strengths and interests.
We are seeking individuals with a minimum of one year's paediatric experience.
Our therapists enjoy true work-life balance, with the option to choose full or part time hours on days that suit you. You’ll set your availability and we’ll build your caseload to suit your skills and experience.

What you'll be doing
Assessing clients through a range of clinical observations and assessments
Developing and delivering client-centered support plans.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Connecting with parents, caregivers, and teachers to set child and family-centered goals
Educating and empowering parents and caregivers to use strategies to support their children's goals outside of therapy sessions
Completing comprehensive reports and other necessary documentation for our NDIS and private clients
Essential Criteria:
To be considered for the role, you will need:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA Registration
Working with Children Check
Valid individual Professional Indemnity Insurance
A current individual Medicare provider number, or be eligible to apply for one.
NDIS Worker Screening, or be willing to apply
A current NSW driver's license and own a vehicle
A current ABN
As our service is currently 100% mobile, you must be willing to travel daily within the Lake Macquarie & Newcastle areas
Skills & Attributes Required:
Strong passion for working with children, particularly those under the age of 7
Experience in supporting neurodivegent individuals and their families
Passionate about neurodiversity-affirming practice - you'll need to demonstrate this in everything you do with us. It's at the very core of why we exist as a practice
The ability to work collaboratively with other health and early intervention professionals
