An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to grow within our team at Joondalup Health Campus.
The Opportunity
Our Occupational Therapists work within a supportive team of professionals, are passionate about providing the best quality care for patients and are committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who is keen to develop their skills in a variety of clinical settings and thrive within the quick pace of a hospital environment.
Rotational Occupational therapists will have the opportunity to gain experience in the following clinical areas: – Geriatric Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation, Acute Medical, Orthopaedics/Surgical and Mental Health.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will meet the following selection criteria:
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
- Ability to effectively manage and balance a busy caseload and administrative responsibilities within a hospital setting.
- Demonstrate problem solving and clinical reasoning skills, considering broader implications and longer-term impacts.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop client centred, occupationally focussed treatment goals and intervention plans in collaboration with the patient, multidisciplinary team, and consulting physician.
