ABOUT US:
We are a well-established practice operating for over 20 years with a highly experienced small team based in Riding Road, Balmoral. We are seeking an Office Manager who is wanting to become an integral member of the team and assist in growing the practice moving forward.

You will enjoy working with a close-knit supportive team of professionals with strong mentorship. Our office is located directly in front of a main bus stop and 15 minutes walk from the Hawthorne ferry. There is also free street parking available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Report directly to Management team.
- Coordinating and managing the firm’s workflow.
- Manage client relationships including building new relationships.
- Manage client onboarding and exits (ethical/engagement letters).
- Organise and oversee client files.
- Assist in client correspondence and fee preparation.
- Assist with the supervision of administration team including review of work and mentoring.
- Work with a team to ensure client work is completed efficiently.
- Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) & Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) in relation to client related matters, including lodgments of tax returns, activity statements, and corporate documents
- Aid in establishing new entities (Trusts, Companies).
- Creating and maintaining standard templates.
- Performing other general office and client matter administration duties as required, such as filing, copying, scanning, saving documents, archiving.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in administration, ideally in an accounting office.
- Knowledge of Xero, MYOB, Handisoft and the ATO portal (preferred).
- A positive attitude towards others.
- Happy and easy to approach.
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
- Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering exceptional client service.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A quick learner and can demonstrate the ability to think outside the box.
This position is available for immediate start full time in office. Flexible working hours are open for discussion for the right candidate.
