Job Overview:
An excellent opportunity exists for an Office Administration/Manager role with flexibility to negotiate available to the right candidate
The job role would entail:
- Prioritising and multitasking, assessing competing priorities and seeking clarification where needed,
- Working independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision,
- Provision of administrative, customer and office services in order to maintain high quality administrative support and contribute to the efficient and effective functioning of the Preschool and the Board,
- Delivery of a wide range of administrative support functions including, records management, accounts and routine purchasing, routine correspondence and meeting minutes, document compilation and distribution, business activity reports and data entry,
- Assisting with telephone enquiries and showing initiative in handling inquiries,
- Drafting and preparing routine correspondence and template documents accurately with attention to detail.
Essential Criteria
- Certificate in Administration/Business Administration or equivalent,
- Office administration experience, minimum three years
- Proficient at using Microsoft Office,
- Willingness to use initiative, learn, develop and grow through asking questions, problem solving and decision making,
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent time management and organisational skills,
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to streamline process operations and prepare administration documentation.
- Working with Children’s Check (ability to obtain one)
- Excellent written and oral skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Certificate in Early Childhood.
- Certified to use Xero.
- Bookkeeping skills.
- Willingness to learn new programs.
