This pivotal role is central to the seamless operation of our office, offering a stimulating and diverse range of responsibilities that involve regular interaction with both our team members and clients.
The role available is a permanent part-time position, ideally spanning three days per week. The specific days and hours will be mutually agreed upon.
The ideal candidate will work closely within our small Administration Team, tackling a mix of straightforward and complex tasks. These responsibilities encompass daily administrative duties as well as more strategic, long-term tasks related to database and systems management.
We value prior experience in a professional office setting, particularly within a smaller team environment, as it provides an excellent foundation for success in this role. Key responsibilities include:
- Database Administration - Proficiency in maintaining our client database.
- Management of Tax and ASIC Lodgements - You will be responsible for managing tax and ASIC lodgements, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Collation of Financial Reports - Assisting in the compilation of financial reports, a crucial task for our clients.
- Secretarial Support - Providing essential secretarial support, including telephone reception and managing incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- General Office Running - Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
- Assisting with Practice Management Tasks and Projects - Participating in various practice management activities and projects to contribute to our firm's growth and success.
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of administration experience within a similar professional firm, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of office operations.
- Excellent Telephone Manner and Written Communication Skills - Your ability to communicate effectively is vital in this client-facing role.
