About the role
The Office Coordinator plays an enabling role within the Engineers Australia Facilities Team. Their primary responsibility is to coordinate and support Engineers Australia’s Sydney office functions by overseeing the day-to-day facilities activities and services within the Sydney office premises. The focus is on stakeholder delivery, administration, contract and service management, invoicing and assisting with small local and national property projects.

- Sustainability Commitment
- Security
- Procurement
- General Office Support
- Records Management
- Repairs and Maintenance
- Work Health Safety and Environment (WHSE).
- Facilities Management Database Maintenance
- Parking Management
- Project Management

Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent is preferred.
- You have the ability to organise tasks, prioritize work efficiently, and maintain a well-structured office environment. You also have the capability to identify issues, find solutions, and address challenges proactively to ensure smooth office operations
- You possess strong verbal and written communication skills and are able to interact effectively and efficiently and with employees, vendors, and contractors.
- You are proficient in the Microsoft suite of products and have excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing tasks and priorities effectively unsupervised.
- A high level of attention to detail. Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure with previous experience in administration.
- Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Able to perform manual tasks and site inspections of the office and building surrounds on a daily basis.
- Ability to look after 3 separate office locations between the Sydney CBD & Chatswood.
