We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Office Junior or Admin Assistant to join our team on a casual basis for a couple of days a week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, handling some phone calls, and assisting with various office tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Following up on quotes that have been sent.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assisting with social media management and online communication (experience advantageous).
- Providing support to team members and assisting with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confidence in handling phone calls and dealing with inquiries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with social media platforms is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
Hours:
- Casual position, couple of days a week.
- Hours negotiable.
- Would suit uni student or someone looking for part-time work during the week.
