Office Manager

Rare opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join a close knit team in Eight Mile Plains.

A world leader in their field, our client operates one of the largest and technologically advanced fleets in the world and has a long history of delivering custom solutions and innovation to their clients. Headquartered in Europe, they have a strong presence globally and a growing presence in Australia, anchored by some lengthy and stable projects.
As a result of a retirement, our client is searching for a skilled Office Manager or Personal Assistant to join their close-knit and tenured Brisbane team. They are seeking a self-motivated candidate to take ownership of the day to day operations of the office and also to provide executive support to the General Manager.
The Role

• Ensure the business daily operations and functions run smoothly and efficiently
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager as required, including assistance with tender submissions, drafting documents and preparing presentations
• Arranging Travel and Accommodation for the General Manager, Finance & Overseas Staff
• HR support for Onsite Staff
• Liaise with HQ overseas for monthly reporting and promotional material
• Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phones, ordering office supplies, and maintaining office equipment and environment.
• Organise catering and corporate functions

What you will bring

• Minimum 3 years experience in an Office Management, Personal Assistant or similar role
• Demonstrated commitment to positive service and successful development of long-term relationships with external and internal stakeholders
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills paired with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
• Demonstrated aptitude to contribute to a small team, working both independently and collaboratively, with the capacity to review and improve workplace practices
