Your Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to join a small purpose driven organisation committed to advancing the research and development that drives growth in the Australian forest and wood products industry.
This team of experts are seeking an Office Manager who can act as the glue across all programs and business units as well as providing executive assistant support to the CEO. Day to day in this role you will:
- Coordinate all corporate travel requirements including bookings, accommodation, logistics, third party supplier relationships and insurances.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, develop agendas, prepare format and collate papers, and take minutes at team, Board and sub-committee meetings.
- Maintain filing, databases, systems and manage records.
- Organising the annual events schedule for any staff, member and program events including marketing collateral and all logistics. This includes supporting sponsorship administration processes.
- Provide strong customer service and reception duties to members, stakeholders and visitors.
- Supporting the Company Secretary with member voting entitlements and processing new applications.
- Provide ongoing administration support to the fairly self-sufficient Chief Executive Officer.
This opportunity will suit an organized self-starter who prides themselves on strong customer service, administration, coordination, and attention to detail.
Whilst we are looking for specific skills, we are open to developing and supporting you if you are a great team fit. Ideally, we are seeking:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail and coordination abilities.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience communicating with stakeholders.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
- Experience working within Government, or a research field will be well received.
