ABOUT US:

At Thirroul Dance Academy, we are more than just a dance studio; we are a vibrant community of dancers, instructors, and artists. Our studio is renowned for it’s positivity, inclusivity, and a deep passion for dance. We offer a wide range of dance classes, catering to students from the age of 2 to adults of all levels. Our commitment to excellence is evident in our participation in ballet exams, tap exams, numerous festivals, competitions, and concerts throughout the school year.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Are you a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a passion for dance? Do you love customer service and thrive in a busy fast paced environment? Thirroul Dance Academy is seeking an Office Manager to join our fast-paced and energetic team. As the face of our academy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our studio and providing exceptional customer service to our students and parents as well as managing office duties and administration tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Front Desk Dynamo: Be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, welcoming them with a warm and friendly attitude.

• Administrative Prodigy: Handle registration, enrollment, and payments efficiently and accurately using our studio management software.

• Resourceful Multitasker: anage phone and email inquiries promptly while attending to walk-in inquiries.

• Class Coordination: Assist in scheduling and coordinating classes, workshops, and events.

• Customer Service Champion: Address questions and concerns with professionalism and provide information about our classes, events, and policies.

• Problem Solver: Handle any issues that arise, such as scheduling conflicts or customer concerns, with a solution-oriented approach.

• Promote Positive Atmosphere: Contribute to the positive and inclusive atmosphere of our studio.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A bubbly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in using office software such as MS Word and Excel is essential.  Confidence with using graphics programs such as Canva and the ability to create social media posts on Instagram preferred. 

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.

• Previous child care or nannying experience is a bonus.

• Passion for dance and an understanding of dance-related terminology is a bonus.

• Applicant must hold or be willing to obtain current Working With Children Check.
