We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager for our long-established boutique property valuation firm in the Sydney CBD.
Ponton Valuations is a market leader in the prestige residential valuation sector with a small team of highly experienced professionals and a wide network of trusted clients (both institutional and private).
This office-based role will transition with our existing long-term Office Manager and the new team member will be trained in all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the business. We are looking for someone seeking a long-term position with an ability to learn new processes and adapt to change.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide admin support to Company Directors.
- Human Resources management to a small friendly team
- Report preparation.
- Prioritise incoming workflow using both bespoke office software and industry platforms.
- Maintain and assist in updating company database.
- Liaise with company accountants for all accounting issues.
- Coordinate/implement company policies, procedures and compliance.
- Provide admin support to Valuations team including research and document control.
Essential Requirements
- Permanent residency status.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in admin and office-related work
- Strong IT skills with particular focus on advanced Microsoft Word skills.
- Knowledge or experience with HR practices
- Ability to work in a small office environment with strong interpersonal and team focus.
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Time management and ability to prioritise.
In addition, any of the following skills would be an advantage:
- Property industry experience is particularly preferable (especially knowledge of the Valex platform).
- Social media experience
- Experience with bookkeeping software (e.g. Xero)
