In this position, you will offer substantial support to a dynamic team of salespeople, property managers, and support staff, collaborating closely with the local office Directors. Serving as the primary point of escalation for day-to-day operations within the team, you'll also leverage your strong administrative skills to address gaps and assist the admin team during peak periods. As a go-getter, you will strive to surpass limits and propel the office to new heights.
Your impact will extend beyond daily operations, as you actively contribute to enhancing overall efficiency through process and business improvements, fostering innovation, and engaging with the community and team. Maintaining a keen awareness of the office's needs, you will transform it into a modern and progressive environment, epitomising the Place brand.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Preparing, processing and managing forms relative to the listing and sale of properties and being able to support others in developing these skills;
- Preparing and processing marketing quotes and communicating with agents and clients on expected timelines;
- Assisting with the operational side of the business planning for future growth and project managing plans to completion;
- Reviewing the office budgets, following the heartbeat of the operation. Identify, recommend and implement business improvement;
- Leveraging the skills and experience within our professional services division to minimise time spent on repetitive tasks;
- Problem solving alongside the team to ensure client satisfaction and expectations are met whilst educating up to the business owner (need-to-know scenarios);
- Managing new employee onboarding into the business in conjunction with the HQ team;
- Organising team meetings and office functions to develop morale; and
- Managing people related matters in conjunction with the office Director.
This role reports to the Office Directors and will meet frequently with the internal Property Management Team Leader and the external Corporate PM Team Leader to ensure overall office goals are met.
Placing the right candidate is important to us. A successful candidate will bring to the table;
- Ideally 3-5 years in the industry working within a high functioning office (alternatively extensive management experience within a corporate setting);
- A current real estate certificate and valid drivers’ license to be able to step in wherever needed;
- Experience in REX & CampaignTrack (highly regarded);
- An approachable persona and a can-do attitude towards solving problems and overcoming challenges;
- A mature approach with strong business acumen; and
- Strong time management and delegation skills to ensure the business is always moving forward.
