What you will be doing
- Support the implementation of the second Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Action Plan.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of initiatives relevant to the Healthy Housing program. This will include monitoring outputs, reporting, and updating processes and procedures.
- Provide support to the project and project team members in developing, implementing and reviewing resources to provide streamlined Project Support.
- Communicating effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to foster collaborative relationships.
- Undertake research tasks and project work to support the preparation of a range of high-quality written material including business reports, practice guides and presentations as required.
- Ensure quality correspondence and assisting in the preparation of submissions and reports, minutes, agendas and provide secretariat functions.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.

Mandatory requirements
- Fieldwork is a requirement of this role. Conditions in the field can be changeable requiring varying degrees of situational awareness, vigilance and management of risk.
