These projects include a framework of water, road and civil infrastructure projects for the Snowy 2.0 Scheme; construction of two new 10ML water reservoirs in Tamworth; a new pump station and 13kms of pipeline in Armidale; and a new sewer trunk main and inlet pump station to service the growing population of Mount Barker in the Adelaide Hills.
We’re seeking an experienced Office Project Administrator to join our vibrant team at our Cooma NSW office in a fulltime capacity, providing support to our Project managers, employees and site visitors with a variety of administrative and office based tasked.
About the role
As an integral part of the team, you will provide high quality administrative support to the Project Management team, with responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Providing ongoing assistance to the Snowy Hydro and Cooma Office project management team to execute office administration tasks.
- Filing, creation of documents, reports and presentations through Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Maintain office supplies, office cleanliness, PPE stock levels and appointment scheduling across groups.
- Site induction assistance, timesheet and payroll administration in timely and efficient manner.
- Organising travel arrangements such as flights, accommodation and scheduling for employees, including Outlook calendar management.
- Maintaining registers, records and databases with assistance for department leads and Project Managers for WHS and finance related administration.
- Provide positive and excellent customer service to personnel and external communications.
- Assist with compliance related tasks, such as Subcontractor Engagement, Chain of Responsibility, Audit preparation and basic contract administration.
- Provide a safe work environment for all employees, clients, sub-contractors and visitors
About You
Your organisational skills will be second to none, with a vibrant and can-do attitude to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day office tasks and correspondence to internal and external stakeholders.
You will demonstrate:
- Experience working in a similar role or industry as civil construction or office administration;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Exceptional orgnanisational and time management skills;
- Team player and ability to work autonomously when necessary;
- Proficient use of Microsoft suite, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet;
- Commitment to working safely and with integrity;
- White Card or equivalent state based licence desirable;
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence;
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
