We are currently looking for a part-time Office Services Assistant to support our busy and friendly legal practice. We are looking for a self-starter who is mature and well organised. In this varied role, you will provide a range of office and administrative services and support the broader team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent high school leaver who wants to kick-start their career in administration.
What does the role involve?
- Photocopying, scanning and collating documents;
- Collection and delivery of mail;
- External deliveries;
- Room set-ups and office relocations;
- Preparing briefs for the Lawyers and Legal Assistants;
- Manage requests for administrative assistance via emails, phone or in person
- Reception coverage
- Assistance with maintaining kitchens; and
- General adhoc administration tasks.
About you
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with minimal prior experience who is willing to learn and interested in a longer-term administration role. A TAFE certificate in Business Administration is desirable but not essential.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you will need to demonstrate:
- Ability to work 3 - 4 days per week;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Polished presentation;
- Flexibility, adaptability and a positive approach;
- A strong commitment to attendance & punctuality;
- Strong communication and customer service skills; and
- A willingness to work and learn.
