The Mount Gambier Golf Club, the #5 rated public access golf course in SA/NT, seeks a motivated and capable employee with a wide range of skills to oversee all clubhouse operations, including administration, financial management and hospitality. This permanent 30-38 hour per week position (hours negotiable) provides a great opportunity to work collaboratively with key stakeholders to grow the club's offerings and business, enabling individual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day club operations under the guidance of policies set by the Committee
- Promote club facilities and events to attract new members and participants
- Handle payroll, accounts payable/receivable, BAS returns and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with regulations and reporting requirements
Required Skills:
- Experience in office administration and finance/accounting knowledge
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Time management and organisational skills to handle multiple priorities
- Experience with using financial software and proficient in using Microsoft Office suite programs
- Willing to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol and First Aid certificates
