We are currently seeking a Wellness Officer to join our team. As the primary point of contact for medical emergencies and health-related concerns, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of students and staff.
Responsibilities include providing immediate and appropriate medical assistance, managing first the response of first aid needs, aid supplies, and collaborating with staff and parents to maintain a safe and healthy school environment. This role requires a current First Aid qualification, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to dealing with health-related issues.
This is an on-going, part-time position (On-going FTE - 0.69) Monday to Thursday 7.45am to 3.45pm - 40 weeks per year. Administration and Technical Officers Award - Level 3, step will be based on experience.

Selection Criteria:
• Knowledge of and a commitment to the ethos and mission of the College
• Provide First Aid Certificate as a minimum
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents
• Experience in a school based environment advantageous but not essential
• Experience in MAZE and SEQTA would be desirable
• Nursing background advantageous but not required
