As a Customer Care Assistant, will respond to all forms of customer enquiries and feedback relating to in-store and online experiences to ensure they are resolved in alignment with the David Jones Service Philosophy.

We currently have various casual positions available for hybrid-remote work. These roles will allow you to work from home, with required days in our Docklands-based Head Office, for training and collaboration with the team. Please note that a portion of these roles will be limited tenure contracts.

 

Responsibilities include

  • Create personalised warm connections, and be an ambassador for service at David Jones
  • Communicate clearly and confidently to resolve customer enquiries in line with our service philosophy
  • Work collaboratively with your team to ensure we deliver seamless solutions
  • Leverage your expert knowledge to resolve enquiries through text, live chat, emails, social and calls
  • Evaluate complex situations and respond appropriately.
  • Be an engaging and active listener to ensure you build trust and effectively capture customer feedback with precision.
  • Be self-motivated working in a fast-paced, high-volume, transactional environment.

 Please note 

  • You will be required to have access to your own laptop, headset, and stable internet connection.
  • You must be available to attend 3 weeks of part-time training at our head office in Docklands on set days.
  • You must be available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week including:
    • At least 3 days availability between 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
    • Availability to work weekend shifts between 9am – 6pm from home.
