The Role
Our client is a prominent Canberra-based property development company. They currently have a full-time vacancy for an experienced Office Manager to join their team in the heart of Barton, Canberra.
Please note all applicants must hold Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency to be considered for this position.
Main Duties:
- Act as the primary point of contact for visitors, managing entry passes, inboxes, emails and phone calls
- Work closely with HR, Project Delivery, and Facility Management teams to support office operations and employee needs.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a clean, organised, and functional workspace. Address any operational issues or maintenance concerns promptly.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, including stationery, kitchen supplies, and equipment. Place orders and manage suppliers to ensure the office is well-stocked and operational.
- Assist with the planning and execution of office projects, events, and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
- Liaise with different business units to support cross-functional activities and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Onsite required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience working as an Office Manager
- Relevant experience in a real estate, construction or sales environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and office management software
