About the role:
Located in our Five Dock location you responsible for the Quality Assurance of Pasticceria Papa’s three locations - Pasticceria Papa in Five Dock, Ristorante Papa in Haberfield, Pasticceria Papa in Bondi & a successful Manufacturing Plant & Wholesale business also in Five Dock.
The OA Officer is to assist in driving the business forward. Quality Assurance professionals are ultimately responsible for guaranteeing the quality of your products and services. Their day-to-day work involves careful inspections and the enforcement of quality standards. Other essential duties and responsibilities in quality assurance include:
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze data on key operational processes and performance metrics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track and report on KPIs
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify operational inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to develop and implement solutions
- Manage and support continuous improvement projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
- Analyze and recommend improvements to inventory and supply chain management processes
- Participate in and support strategic planning and budgeting processes
- Provide training and support to end-users on operational processes and systems
- Developing and implementing standards for inspection
- Developing a workflow for product inspection
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Technology , or related field
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in operations assurance or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, BI reporting tools)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management practices
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
