Form of workWe are a fast-paced food importer and distributor based in Dandenong. Our business involves the importation and distribution of a wide range of products to both wholesale and retail customers. We currently have a vacancy for a permanent full time Operations Administrator to join us.
The position is centered on dealing with all aspects of sales support, quality assurance and shipping coordination. You will be flexible, have the ability to influence others, work well within a team environment and be able to come up with new ideas and drive innovation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Shipping Co-ordination for our incoming containers
- Working with our sales team to support their sales work
- Working with our warehouse staff to resolve issues relating to supply, delivery & invoicing
- Quality Assurance administrative duties
- General interaction with suppliers and customers
- Management of stock for key accounts, placing orders with Australian suppliers, and following up on them and ensuring stock is ordered in time to meet customer requirements
- Invoicing.
- Processing credits and returns.
You will have:
- Recently completed your University Degree, in a related discipline
- Strong commercial initiative
- Versatility and flexibility
- Attention to detail and commitment to follow through
- Good problem solving skills
- Confident PC navigation, including familiarity with Excel, Word, Outlook
- Can do attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team
- Clear written and verbal communication
- The ability to handle pressure
- A good attitude and are a strong team player
- Excellent computer skills
- Superior time management skills
- Confidence, motivation, is engaged and outgoing
