Overview of the roleThe role of the Operations Advisor is to provide superior planning, management and delivery of our Operations portfolio encompassing Facilities Management, Safety, Fleet, Car Parking, Concierge and Procurement activities across the commercial, industrial and retails sites for the Suncorp Group. The role will focus heavily on the facilitation and management of the budget and cost expenditures. The role will also manage key initiatives, data governance, reporting and involves a high level of written communication.This is a key role in the Real Estate team which will contribute to process development, innovation and process improvement while providing integral program management, coordination and communication across the portfolio to effectively manage the operations within the team.This is a broad, generalist role and would suit someone with previous Real Estate and corporate communications experience. The role is a 7 month fixed term contract/secondment with a possibility of extension and you will be expected to be in the office 2/3 days per week.What you'll do:
  • Supports all aspects of delivery for Real Estate, including Facilities, Safety and Concierge.
  • Manage our Service Providers operational performance and responses to Facilities related incidents, ensuring a proactive approach
  • Design, create and review documentation while working to continuously improve operational frameworks, templates, processes and procedures
  • Coordinate Real Estate building communications
  • Manage escalations and liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication until issue is resolved, and processes updated accordingly
  • Guide and oversee service provider to better understand property cost drivers and potential savings and approving invoices
What you'll bring:
  • At least 3 years' experience in Corporate Real Estate, Building Services, Property Management or Facility Management
  • Expert knowledge of Real Estate function including Facilities & Contractor Management
  • Client relationship experience with a strong focus on customer service
  • Previous experience producing/writing internal communications
  • High level of consulting, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Great team player and stakeholder relationship skills
