Our Health Business, Cleanaway Daniels, is Australia’s top provider of medical waste services, making a safer, sustainable future possible for the healthcare sector.
We are approaching an exciting time with growth and EBIT and an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our Health Services Business Unit.
Based at Mitchell, ACT, you will report to the Operations Manager. You will be the linchpin addition to this high-performing team, which facilitates the ongoing Coordination of the operations team to ensure operational effectiveness.
The role is site-based, and we offer Monday through Friday, with flexible start and finish times of either 7 a.m. or 9 a.m.
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating service delivery in business operations to a consistently high standard of operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Site walk and check housekeeping – Correct issues and allocate jobs depending on findings.
- Facilitate meetings with all operators to discuss daily planning activities such as issues, targets, requirements change, and task allocation.
- Coordinate truck unloading with Transport Coordinator.
- Manage stock replenishments and reorders as required, including parts and consumables; arrange machine services; and perform non-urgent repairs.
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities.
- Communicate openly and effectively with other departments and maintain positive Internal stakeholder relationships.
About you:
IT savvy across the MS Office suite and able to quickly pick up on new technology.
Previous experience in an operations warehouse or manufacturing environment. A logistics and supply chain background will be advantageous.
You are well organised and can prioritise multiple deadlines with exceptional time management abilities.
You have high attention to detail and are technically and analytical minded.
A high level of communication with stakeholders and subordinates to coach, train and develop.
