We have a newly created role in our very fast growing business and we are currently seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Perth and play a crucial role in our operational success.
Job Description:
You will be responsible for coordinating various operational, project and human resource aspects for the Operational teams across WA. This is a full-time position requiring commitment from Monday to Friday and based out of our Redcliffe Branch in Perth, WA.
It will see you, day to day:
- Rostering, medicals, mobilisation, site inductions, travel and logistics.
- Project coordination of new and existing sites
- HR tasks with recruiting assistance, onboarding, inductions, training requirements, policy compliance
- Purchasing duties
- General team operational support for all branches.
- Communication to internal and external stakeholders of projects, rosters, mobilisations and logisitics.
- Creating and maintaining systems to improve operational performance
- Collaboration with the branch leadership teams, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective rostering.
- Facilitate training and development opportunities for employees as needed, ensuring they have the necessary skills and qualifications for their roles on-site.
What you will bring:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations coordination within the mining, transport and logistics industries.
- Demonstrated experience in rostering, compliance, site mobilisation, travel and logistics management, and project management.
- Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be agile and flexible, manage stress and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail for rostering, mobilisations and project tasks
- Strong competency in software systems
