Job Description:
The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the day to day operations of our cash-in-transit services. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership abilities and a deep understanding of Logistics and Customer Service. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing complex operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The SecureCash Head Office is based in Adelaide and we are looking for someone local to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of your department.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and performance.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Accounts, Reconciliations, Sales) to ensure alignment and collaboration across the organisation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee logistics to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to standards.
- Report and collaborate regularly with other department heads.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using technology and software.
- Ability to collate and analyse data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
