We are looking for experienced Operations Manager, working in and outside of Australia, reporting into the COO. This role will oversee the day to day supply chain operations of The Oodie business. This role is responsible for planning, implementing and managing overall freight logistics, inventory and order fulfilment in order to maximize operational efficiency. This role can be based in Adelaide or Melbourne however global experience of managing a network outside of Australia is preferred.

The Role:
Strategy
- Work with COO to set and implement a distribution strategy to transform inbound freight, warehouse and last mile operations in line with overall group strategy.
- Set yearly OKRs for operations that ladder back to larger company goals.
Innovation & Capability
- Ultilise network of internal and external contacts to keep up to date with advancements and best practice in the operations space.
- Regularly review operational performance and look for opportunities to build and improve process to drive efficiency and improve customer experience, also looking at cost saving opportunities.
Supply Chain
- Ensure PO's are placed with factories within timefame and are accurate to the data provided from planning
- Ensure incoming PO's are reconciled to commercial invoices
- Provide forecasts of incoming stock, outbound shipments and promotional plans to 3PLs in advance to allow for planning
- Ensure changes to ex factory dates and incoming shipment ETAs are communicated to appropriate departments internal and external
- Work with operations coordinator to ensure that container loads are optimized and best rates are secured
- Provide forward forecast to freight forwarding partners and work collaboratively to secure best sailing times and/or lowest shipping rates based on business needs
- This is a role covering many countries within Southern and Northern hemisphere, so experience with different markets and being a leader in this space is key.
Inventory
- Work with team to ensure that systems are regularly updated to ensure data accuracy at all times.
- Ensure 3PL are regularly cycle counting inventory to maintain highest level of stock integrity at all times
- Work collaboratively with ecomm, planning, customer service and finance teams, communicating any oversells, stock adjustments or changes to inventory in a timely manner
In addition to the above, the Operations Manager will have responsibility over Returns with Customer Service, Network Planning & Design of delivery, manage budget and P&L for warehouse and last mile related costs and have daily, weekly and monthly reporting cycles.

- Experience in the Operations space across Logistics, 3PLs, Inventory, and Shipping
- Strong knowledge of 3PL arrangements
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams internally and externally.
- Have great commercial acumen
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
