Within our Industrial & Waste Services business unit, we provide total waste management business solutions to our customers including: Industrial cleaning services such as non-destructive digging, concrete demolition, high pressure water blasting, vacuum loading, shutdown services, pipe, drain and tank cleaning, emergency spills response and CCTV. We service industries including infrastructure construction, manufacturing, food, agriculture, chemicals, and oil and gas.Our business unit is growing rapidly and to support our Mission we have an exciting, opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our dynamic team in this newly created role.What we offer

Your new role

• Coordinate daily schedules to support customer requirements
• First point of contact for sub-contractors, Cleanaway Operators and internal queries
• Liaise with customers to ensure contract requirements are met and jobs are completed on time
• Critical spare management, order placement and other necessary administrative duties
• Basic sales and operations planning, liaising with both the plant operations team and our technical sales organization to ensure capacity and capability are aligned

Skills and experience

• Proven experience in the Transport and Logistics space or similar
• Computer skills - proficiency in MS Office suite
• Teamwork - work across multiple departments and build relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to resolve problems effectively and effectively
• Proven ability to be agile in a fast-paced environment with conflicting deadlines
