The Role:
Allworks have been supplying specialised wet and dry hire equipment to the Rail, Civil, Mining and Transport industries for 25 years.
A new opportunity exists for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager, this role will assist in achieving the operational objectives of the business with senior management direction, whilst actively ensuring we deliver our broad range of services in a safe and cost-effective manner.
This is a full-time role based in our Wangara head office.
Duties will include:
- Oversee and manage daily operations.
- Effective and efficient management of staff and resources.
- Continually drive safe work practices and a positive safety culture.
- Work towards enabling the achievement of all operational KPI’s, budgets and targets.
- Provide and implement holistic solutions to key stakeholders, employees, contractors, suppliers and customers.
- Implement and refine strategies to guide the business in maintaining and improving a competitive and profitable operation.
- Ensure effective planning for growth within the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong people management skills.
- Experience Managing operations, personnel, logistics.
- A strong analytical brain with problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage operational and maintenance budgets.
- Keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Experience with quoting, monthly forecasting & reporting.
- Proven track record in operations management, particularly within the major industry sectors of Rail, Civil, Mining and Transport.
