Role: To work in conjunction with the appointed Centre manager managing a sub-regional shopping centre and Large Format Retail Centres in line with client requirements and expectation. This includes assisting in all roles associated with managing a shopping centre such as facilities management, administrative duties, marketing support, tenancy matters, leasing, tenancy fit outs and compliance matters.
Operations – this is the main function of the role; address maintenance issues, submit opex and capex requests/planning, raise work orders, regular and positive contact with contractors, review service contracts, review sustainability initiatives, apply OH&S and relevant legislation to the workplace and effective management of incidents.
Centre Presentation – Manage the centre presentation including cleaning and landscaping to maximise customer experience.
Tenancy Coordination – Assist with the management of Landlord works and tenant fitouts.
Financial Reporting – support the Centre Manager in accruals and variance commentary reporting, completion of annual budgets and re-forecasts, meeting calendar expectations and yearly auditing of outgoings and tenant charges.
Client/Tenant Relationships – develop good working relationship with tenants and landlord, provide information to landlord and tenants as requested, inspection of properties for presentation and quality and ensure relevant information is provided to internal management.
General Administration – approving of invoices for payment, ensuring invoices are provided by contractors for payment and regular reviews of PM operation via client interactions and reporting.
