YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Due to continued project growth, and to support our NACP Projects team in Darwin, we are expanding our team of experienced construction professionals and are now looking to appoint a suitably qualified Operations manager for Commercial Construction project management to perform the following duties:
- Programming skills utilising MS Project;
- Quality management and continuous improvement practices and processes;
- Monthly commercial reporting, progress claims and variations;
- Preparation and submission of variation orders & contractual notices
- Preparing head contract progress claims & reports
- Negotiation of subcontract packages & subcontract administration
- Investigate contractual claims and variations
- Liaising and effectively communicating with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors
- Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with design, specification and contract requirements
- Use building methodologies and current industry best practice;
- Demonstrate an understanding of current QHSE Act and Legislation;
To be our next successful Operations Manager, you'll be a highly motivated and adaptable individual who builds effective and lasting relationships and shares our unwavering commitment to corporate social responsibility within the construction sector.
You must be adaptable and committed to learn our systems and processes, including the use of CHEOPS. You will have a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar and proven experience in the Australian market. A legal entitlement to work in Australia is essential.
