Our Operation
We are a young family currently milking 500 holstein & Jersey cows between two herringbone dairies. Our herd is split between fresh and pregnant cows. Calving all year round, we rear all our young stock.
Our focus is to produce excellent quality milk sustainably and enjoyably with continual improvement in our produce, farming practices, personal development and lifestyle. We have a passion to utilise and maximise farming land production.
The Role
We are seeking a suitably experienced person to be responsible for delivering on operation targets and ensuring the smooth running of production activities in this progressive dairy operation.
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will encompass
- Coordinate operational activities to run smoothly & meet targets
- Herd Health & Reproduction including AI
- Continuously improve production & systems with assistance from the owners
- Feed Management
- Support Milkers during staff shortages from time to time
You will also be responsible for the following areas of the business, and depending on your previous experience we will support the right candidate with training and development to step into these duties over the first 12 months.

- Support Recruitment of a high performing team so you know you are working with great people
- Training and development of our team
- Understanding & delivering on agreed budgets

Local primary school in town & local highschool 10 mins drive with bus services available for both. Many private school education options are also within a 20 min radius with bus services.
