At Kmart Australia, are currently looking for an Operations Manager to be a part of our Merchandise Operations Group. As our Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining the quality of our critical systems, ensuring minimal impact on our business, and enhancing our overall performance.
What you’ll be doing:
Oversee the delivery of exceptional support services to technology groups, minimising the impact of incidents/issues, identifying and correcting the underlying root cause to prevent recurrence.
Provide leadership to technical teams to support technical delivery to the business.
Contribute to overall technology and strategic direction to ensure that engineering interests are considered and included.
To be successful in the role you’ll have:
Demonstrated experience leading a support services group with a focus on continuous improvement.
A problem-solving mindset and excellent critical thinking skills.
The ability to understand complex technology problems and translate concepts for a broader audience.
A history of effectively managing relevant third-party providers.
The ability to help create and execute an IT operations strategy.
Experience in providing technical support to application teams and business customers.
Proficiency in effective reporting, risk management, and issue resolution.
A background in being the escalation point for major production issues.
