Reporting to the General Manager ANZ, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, managing and executing supply chain strategies concerning demand and supply planning (MRP) in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Overseeing demand planning processes and collaboration with cross-functional teams which drive positive collaboration, enhance accuracy in forecasting and overall responsiveness to market dynamics.
- Managing relationships with internal and external customers including 3PL warehousing and logistics providers aligning with corporate objectives which drive operational excellence.
- Monitoring supplier performance to assess their ability to meet the companies quality and delivery requirements. Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, warehouses, and freight forwarders and appraise vendor supply chain ability through on-site visits and measurements.
- Utilise data analytics to elevate supply planning initiatives, supply chain visibility, forecasting accuracy, and strategic decision-making.
Managing a comprehensive risk management framework, fortifying the supply chain against disruptions and instigating agile responses to unforeseen challenges. - Driving initiatives which optimize cost reduction strategies across the supply chain, demonstrating fiscal acumen in managing budgets while upholding the commitment to quality.
- Participate in the coordination of new product launches and/or line extensions to ensure orderly and timely delivery of products.
- Ensuring adherence to regional and international regulations governing supply chain operations, safeguarding its reputation and integrity.
- Providing accurate and timely feedback to key internal stakeholders.
Creating a positive performance-driven culture by defining and monitoring critical KPIs for demand planning, supply planning, and overall supply chain operations. - Supporting the Customer Service Manager when required and carry out the role in accordance with the companies Service Standards with a view to providing first time resolution for all queries received.
For you to be successful in applying for the role you will need the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management and a minimum of five years experience in supply chain management.
- Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft AX ERP
- A minimum of two years experience in Freight Forwarder Management, 3PL Management and Transport Management.
- ERP system, Data analysis and Proficient in Excel skill set
- Experience in Demand and Supply Planning, Data analysis and Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Valid Australia driver’s license and National Criminal History Check
- Self-starter that’s keen to hit targets & exceed sales expectations.
Desirable attributes are:
- SQL, GS1- NPC, ISO-9001; Non conformances, Corrective Actions and Medical Device Industry exposure
- Experience in Import and Export processes
- Proven success in implementing process improvements and cost optimization strategies.
- The ability to work remotely and autonomously as well as within a team.
