We are looking for an influential and results-driven Operations Manager to lead, coach and support the team to increase capability and performance. You will be working in the new Self-Employment Assistance Program, which supports individuals to start and run viable small businesses. The focus of the role is to manage the operations within the region, including staff and resources to achieve successful delivery of the program, operational budgets and KPI’s.
This is a full-time position with an attractive salary package including a company vehicle, phone, laptop, monthly accrued day off (ADO) and salary packaging options to increase your take-home pay. The role can be based in either Maroochydore, Caboolture, Deception Bay or Strathpine. Regular travel will be required across your operational region.
Who are we looking for?
A manager with demonstrated experience providing effective leadership for a team in business coaching, training or employment programs. You have exceptional communication skills and can build and maintain excellent working relationships with a diverse stakeholder group. With a high level of emotional intelligence, you have a knack for evaluating situations, identifying solutions and negotiating positive outcomes. You also understand the drivers of success and can implement strategies and coach your team to drive strong performance outcomes while ensuring they feel supported in the process.

Essential experience, qualifications and skills:
- Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy
- Demonstrated experience managing teams across a range of locations, preferably in either business coaching, training or employment services
- Strong contract management experience
- A recent, clear National Police Check
- A current Working With Children Check / QLD Blue Card
- Current Driver’s Licence and the ability to travel between different ETC sites
