As an established local WA business with multiple mining and civil clients throughout WA, we are looking to expand our client base and are seeking a skilled Operations/Business Development Manager to join our team.

About the Role

• Utilise your existing contacts within the mining industry, specifically Mobile Equipment Maintenance departments, to assist in building our client and candidate base.
• Build and maintain relationships with our people and clients via regular site visits, ongoing communication and employee support.
• Provide tech support to MEM trades.
• Oversee the head office administration team, maintaining motivation, integrity and positive team relationships.
• Provide adhoc support to the General Manager.
• Recruitment and management of blue collar trades.

Essential

• Mobile Equipment Trade Qualification (ie. HD Fitter, Auto Electrician etc).
• Highly developed communication skills.
• Computer skills including experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Sound understanding of Mining Safety Requirements & Regulations.
• Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and adapt to an ever-changing environment.
• Ability to objectively solve problems.
• Work well in a fast paced environment.
• Have an upbeat attitude and contribute to building a positive team culture.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Desirable

• Previous Leadership experience.
• Understanding of Recruitment and Site Mobilisation Processes.
• Planning or Scheduling experience.
