Our client is a leading transport and logistics company being well renowned for our reliability, innovation, and commitment to exceptional customer service. We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced National Operations Manager in Melbourne, VIC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor warehouse operations strategies to optimise efficiency and profitability.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team across Melbourne and Sydney warehouses (10-20 staff)
• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including stock control, order fulfilment, and dispatch.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and compliance standards.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce costs.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and transport providers.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a National Operations Manager or similar leadership role within warehousing and logistics.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating teams (10-20 staff)
• Background in Hydraulics or the Heavy Transport sector is preferred
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations best practices, including inventory management, order fulfilment, and WHS regulations.
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering is desirable
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
