The opportunity:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead and manage the total operations of Visy Board Victoria. This role encompasses leadership and management of all operational aspects, including safety, industrial relations, productivity, delivery performance, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible to manage Cost Drivers across all manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage site HSE and compliance.
- Lead and manage site staff HR and IR matters.
- Oversee operational aspects of P&L.
- Manage all quality aspects and technical interactions for the state.
- Drive continuous improvement methodology implementation and capability development.
- Develop and implement operational strategy and projects.
What you will bring to the team:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Proven experience in multi-site management of large-scale operations.
- Demonstrated leadership that delivers results in operational performance and safety.
- Ability to build strong teams with a results-driven culture and a psychologically safe environment.
- Expertise in industrial relations management and negotiation.
- Proven experience in leading continuous improvement methodology implementation (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
- Experience in the corrugated fibre packaging industry or allied industries.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Engineering, Operations, or Finance.
