We are looking for a proactive Operations Manager to drive the Warehouse Operations of our Darwin Inpex contract in East Arm, Northern Territory. Managing and supporting 12 direct reports this role will liaise heavily with internal stakeholders and will take ownership of the day to day running of the Warehouse operation, responsible for the recruitment, development and rostering of staff.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
Day-to-day supervision of Warehouse operational activities across the site.
Build solid relationships with your Warehouse Operators ensuring schedules are adhered to.
Conduct regular toolbox meetings and facilitate health, safety and environmental initiatives.
Maintain established work systems to enable effective working as individuals and as a team to achieve the standards and results required.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Sound knowledge and a background in Warehousing.
Demonstrated Health and Safety mindset, continuing to grow the Safety Obsessed cultural.
Experience and knowledge of personnel and operational requirements, relating to training and compliance.
Demonstrated experience in an Operations supervisor or Management role.
Good written and verbal communication skills
