Job Title: Operations Project Manager

Location: Chiswick, Greater London

About the role

This role is a 12 -month FTC within the Standards Solutions team a commercially focused function that builds solutions in response to client requirements, scoping the projects and taking the opportunities forward to a signed contract and then delivery. Supporting the Head of Operations and Service Development, the Operations Project Manager will facilitate the efficient operation of the Standards Solutions team, supporting Sales activities, documentation, financial reporting, liaison with teams engaged in the delivery of client-funded projects, and facilitation of approval processes and contracts management.

This role will also take on problem-solving and troubleshooting issues on contracts. Another key element will be to facilitate communications between the Standards Solutions team and other teams, engaged in the delivery of Standards Solutions projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Initiation, monitoring, and completion of proposal/contract approval processes.
  • Management of contracts and proposal templates.
  • Liaison with Group Legal to ensure all templates are up-to-date and accessible to the business development team. Coordinate updates to all proposal templates/boilerplate text.
  • Coordination of team input to complete and ratify project costing documentation.
  • Coordination of communications between the Standards Solutions team and other teams engaged in the delivery of Standards Solutions projects, creating, and sharing documentation as appropriate.
  • Oversee project management of delivery status, milestone completion, and financial forecast.
  • Reporting on a range of metrics including collating monthly reports, including financial information and other key metrics.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Experience in running business management processes.
  • Confident communicator, with the ability to provide clear direction.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Project management experience.
  • To take ownership of problems and see them through to solution.
  • To take initiative in solving problems.
