About the Role
Based in the Santos Brisbane office, the primary objective of this position is to lead the team delivering operations input and manage key stakeholders in the Asset Development, Risk Management, Project Delivery, Operations Readiness and Completions Management teams for the EA Upstream assets.

Key accountabilities include:
  • Provide operations and maintenance input into projects throughout the project lifecycle for Operations Readiness deliverables, including operational philosophies,
  • Participate in project reviews throughout the various design phases of a project,
  • Driving the associated start-up review processes.

About You
  • 10+ years of experience in Upstream Production Operations, with a minimum 5 years Operations leadership.
  • Demonstrated safety leadership experience with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Solid understanding of operational aspects at the plant and in field
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially MS Excel
  • Knowledge of Process design and well versed in Process Safety Management including HAZOPs, LOPAs and SIL assessment studies.
  • Familiar with National and International standards that are used in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Ideally you will also have experience in Management of Change (MOC), process and management systems development; as well as Electronic Data Management System (EDMS), CMMS Master Data, Asset Strategy experience.

Qualifications
  • Either a tertiary qualification in engineering, sciences or accounting/business, or,
  • Certificate in Process Plant Operations and Qualified Process Technician (Level 4).
