AddressThe purpose of this role is to organise the day to day operations of the business, maximise fleet utilisation, meet customer needs and requirements and minimise unnecessary costs.
We have a Supervisory role available at our customers site in Coopers Plains / Acacia Ridge. The roles involves:
- Conducting & documenting Load Restraint Audits & Safe Act Observations
- Monitor and support development of load and route efficiency improvements
- Monitoring and meeting KPI's for contract
- Assist in the cross utilisation of operators across multiple contracts
- Completing Trucksafe Compliance requirements (when required)
- Coordination & organisation of all fleet maintenance with the Workshop in relation to TruckSafe defects and maintaining the fleet (inc tyres)
- Sorting and maintaining paperwork processes (when required)
- Support to the Contract Manager
To secure this role you must have:
- Background / Experience in a Supervisory roles relating to local deliveries (steel products desirable)
- Prior experience in contract fleet work
- Demonstrated excellence of understanding of the Load Restraint Guidelines (incl safe loading / unloading and securing of steel product guidelines)
- Knowledge of the greater Brisbane area
- Good communication skills including customer service skills
- Good systems based approach to manage own time and task diversity
- Focus on safe systems of work and supporting a system of safe work for pre-planning and contingency planning.
- Confidence and competence in working in MS Office products - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- The desire to be part of a diverse team
- Heavy Vehicle and / or High Risk Work Licence (class LF) is highly regarded but not essential.
Note: This is a Salaried position with a ute provided as part of the package.
