Senior Technical Analyst - Special Operations, Apac

The role will ideally be based in Melbourne and incorporates extensive travel in Australia and the Asia Pac region.Our Special Operations team are charged with delivering a range of warehouse convergence projects to our facilities across the region to standardise operations management systems and processes aligned to Lineage's strategic objectives.The Senior Technical Analyst is a key member of the Special Operations team and is responsible for gathering functional & operational requirements from the business, mapping those requirements to systems/technical designs that are fit for purpose for the IT Implementation team and will deliver the operational and performance outcomes required.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced direct to consumer business unit supporting our on-site operations management teams and assisting them in identifying and implementing systems and process improvements.Ultimately, you'll be responsible for delivering enhanced warehouse, supply chain and logistics performance of our regional network through, process mapping & re-engineering and supporting technology implementation services.Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Conducting detailed business analysis in collaboration with the Operations Management teams and stakeholders, including developing clear, detailed process maps, requirement specifications and ensuring alignment with existing systems and strategy.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Operations and IT to facilitate sign-off and implementation of systems and enhancements.Providing project management services for warehouse convergence and systems integration and enhancement projects.Ensuring quality assurance by applying procedures and analysing and resolving issues or gaps between business requirements and implemented solutions documentation in partnership with Operations and IT.Providing subject matter expertise and third-level support to the team and stakeholders to explain systems enhancementsReviewing and providing input to projects, services, implementation plans, and strategy as required.Understanding, managing, and providing guidance in operations/systems process maps, data migration, change deployment and operational handoversTo be successful, you will ideally have:Extensive experience as a Senior Technical Analyst is required for this role.Proven experience in a senior business/system analysis role in ICT operations and / or applications development, and high-level analytical and problem-solving skills.Advanced experience in requirements development, process mapping and business systems designAdditionally, you will ideally have practical experience of supporting Continuous Improvement projects and knowledge of Knowledge of Agile, BABOK, UML, BPMN, waterfall methodologiesExcellent task and priority management skills, experience in data, business, and functional analysis, data modelling, process mapping, and designing and writing specifications for business systems.A high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion, and have a commitment to OH&S, EEO and quality practices.Additional RequirementsAbility to identify and effectively resolve issues.Proven ability to handle and thrive on accountability.Strong presentation and communication skillsWillingness to travel to client locations/sites.Why is this opportunity exciting?As well as receiving a highly competitive salary, you will be joining a values-based business, proud to offer you a respectful work environment built around safety, trust, respect, innovation and servant leadership.You will also be joining the business at an exciting time in our transformation journey and be part of a specialist team working across our operations in the region.In addition, this particular role will afford you with the opportunity to make a positive impact on our team ensuring we remain a great place to work.Why Lineage?Lineage is more than just a cold storage logistics business.
