Eden Ritchie is looking for a Change Manager to support Organisational Change and the adoption of information systems and technology services. You will work closely with the Director of Change Management, Project Directors, and Project Managers to execute business and prisoner-centric Organisational Change initiatives. This involves applying a structured methodology to lead change management activities, planning and delivering project communication, and assessing change impacts to develop appropriate strategies and plans.
You will also undertake stakeholder analysis, develop engagement strategies and plans, and create change management approaches and plans. Additionally, you will identify, analyse, and prepare change-focused risk mitigation, manage anticipated change resistance, and support and engage Program and Project leadership in managing and communicating Organisational Change. Your role will also include planning, conducting, and reviewing training material and training across the entire organisation, as well as evaluating and ensuring user readiness and transition strategies and plans. You will define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress, as well as develop the training plan and support training efforts during deployments, while also tracking and reporting issues that may arise during deployment.
What You Will Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Organisational Change management roles, with a demonstrated ability to design and implement structured change. You should have experience developing digital training material during continual software development lifecycles, as well as contributing to communication strategies for complex ICT projects.
Your experience should also include delivering ICT projects involving significant business change and participating in project delivery teams comprising a mix of employees, contractors, and vendors. Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills are essential, as you will be engaging with end-users and the program team regularly.
Role Fit
To excel in this role, you should have demonstrated experience in designing and delivering Organisational Change management, communication, and engagement strategies within large-scale project/program environments. You should possess a high-level knowledge of contemporary and best practice Organisational Change management and communication frameworks and methodologies. Understanding project management elements, including contemporary change management and business integration processes and strategies, is crucial.
Additionally, you should have experience in developing and implementing consultation strategies, frameworks, and processes. Knowledge of or the ability to quickly understand the business changes resulting from the implementation of key strategic projects and reform initiatives and translate them into an effective communication and engagement program of work is important.
Experience in Organisational Change management/project management delivering ICT projects and delivering transformation initiatives across a large and complex public sector organisation is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and negotiating on sensitive and complex issues.
Strong written communication skills are also required, with experience drafting a range of materials, from web text to presentations, reports, and 'Government' style formal documents.
Professional qualifications in Organisational Change management and project management will be highly regarded. Travel may be a requirement for this position, as you may be required to work at different sites.
