  • Salary - Classification - AHP1 - Allied Health Professional L1 - $67,466 to $82,359
    • Second Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $86,950 to $100,729
  • Employment Full time - Ongoing Permanent

Overview

The Women’s & Children’s Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia. We are the state’s leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA’s largest maternity and obstetric service.

Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health Team as an Orthotist / Prosthetistin a full time, Ongoing capacity.

The Orthotist / Prosthetist is responsible for providing high quality Orthotic and Prosthetic (O&P) direct clinical services for clients at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

In this role Orthotist/Prosthetist applies clinical expertise to the delivery, development and continuous improvement of quality O&P services appropriate to the goals and expectations of the WCHN.

The WCHN promotes a team environment with the incumbent needing to problem solve at both a clinical and technical level but with support from the more senior professional staff.

About You

To be eligible to apply, you require an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification of Orthotists and Prosthetists.

To be successful in this role, you will use your excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and your ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate effective time management.

If you have experience in providing high quality, efficient and effective Orthotic and Prosthetic services, then this role is for you.
