Our Outside School Hours Care service, Rostrata OSHClub is looking for a passionate Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators.
You will work across split shifts to support the service's operating hours of Monday - Friday, 7:00am – 9:00am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program).
About the role
You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus a Regional Manager who regularly visits to mentor you at your service to assist you and your team to:
- Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
- Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
- Assist to manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About you
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
- Leadership and team management, with the ability to implement behavioural management strategies, and create a supportive environment for both staff and children.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years' Childcare or relevant equivalent industry knowledge and experience preferably in an OSHC environment
- Mentoring skills and a passion for training new staff members
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong and clear communication in order to build positive relationships with children, parents and staff
- Adaptability, flexibility and problem solving!
- A current national police check
- A current Working with Children's Check
- Valid Australian work rights
- Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant area of study is preferable
