Samford Valley Steiner School is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for an Outdoor Education Coordinator to join our school. This role is ongoing, full time commencing in July 2024.
The Outdoor Education Coordinator is responsible for managing the effective and efficient operation, administration and compliance of the Outdoor Education program in accordance with the policies, directions and delegations of the School Director, High School Director and Primary School Director of Samford Valley Steiner School. The Outdoor Education Coordinator will work closely with the Outdoor Education Assistant, Teacher and Faculty Directors and the teachers to implement the Outdoor Education curriculum.

The successful applicant will be required to provide both general and teaching support to the Outdoor Education Staff and Classroom Teachers on camps, including pastoral care for the students. Applicants should have a strong commitment to and understanding of duty of care, a willingness to participate actively in the life of the school community and be committed to ongoing individual and collaborative professional development.
Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher (QCT Registration required)
- Education or Educational Support.
- Current First Aid qualifications
- Current Blue Card
