The King David School in Armadale requires an Outside School Hours Care Coordinator to organise and facilitate its after school program.
Role
- After School Care 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm Friday during term time
- Opportunity for full time hours during term break
- Paid administrative time
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the service
- Develop, plan, and deliver daily quality activities for children
- Create a child- centred program in a safe environment
- Detailed understanding of Child Safe Standards and Mandatory reporting requirements
- Supervise and support children
- Ability to work independently, lead a team, and communicate well with students and parents
- Liaise with external activity providers
Requirements:
- Must hold a Diploma of School Age Education and Care
- Current Working With Children Check
- First Aid Certificate and training in Anaphylaxis Management
