The Role:
The Packaging Coordinator will assist with the activities relating to all packaging artwork development, changes and commercialisation for the business.
The Packaging Coordinator will be required to liaise and track projects efficiently and effectively. Further, this role offers the opportunity to work with all departments across the commercial and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and set up briefs for all Packaging related changes – from concept development, changes to existing artworks and commercial briefs.
- Work collaboratively with the Design team, Marketing and Regulatory team to ensure the design adheres to the brand style guide and TGA regulations.
- Assist with the review and checking process including annotating files and ensuring the completion of appropriate changes have been implemented.
- Coordinate and follow up with artwork reviews and for internal approval through IRIS Artwork.
- Set up and manage IRIS Artwork non-commercial and commercial workflow from start to finish.
- Request GTIN codes from Supply chain for commercialisation. Die-lines and clone artworks from suppliers if not available.
- Support the tracking of the PMO Project Tasks for NPD and Change Over projects and maintain the dates in timely manner.
- Contribute to new packaging projects emanating from the business.
- Identify opportunities to improve internal procedures and processes to ensure the effectiveness of artwork development.
- Remain up to date with launch timelines and submission due dates.
- Provide advice and support to management and employees on packaging related matters.
- Maintain the WIP spreadsheet and packaging style guides.
- Answer Sales Team and customer queries as needed
- Provide artworks to the marketing team to generate renders, the Hospital Business Development Manager for tenders and the Quality Assurance team for product release.
- Assist packers and manufacturers with requests relating packaging.
