The Paediatric Allied Health Professional (NDIS) presents an exciting opportunity for individuals at various levels of experience, from Grade One to Three. We welcome applications from professionals from backgrounds in Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, and Occupational Therapy to join a rapidly expanding NDIS team. The availability of both Part-time and Full-time work options enhances the flexibility for you!! You will involves providing specialized care and support to children with diverse needs, contributing to their development and well-being within the NDIS framework. ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.
ERH provides a comprehensive range of acute, medical, surgical and sub-acute services plus residential aged care and a broad range of community healthcare services. Successful applicants will work as part of their disciplinary team providing services to NDIS clients, working with predominately paediatric caseloads. T
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide evidence-based assessment and interventions to a broad range of disabilities using Allied Health Professional evidence-based skills
- Work within a team environment providing support and leadership providing a clinical lead in the area of disability
- Completion of all mandatory requirements for funding, organisational and APHRA registration which include a yearly APHRA professional development plan, understanding of funding minimum data obligations, quality improvement, student support or other duties as directed
Our team requires someone who has:
- Qualifications and registration with the relevant board and APHRA
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- High-level awareness of statutory obligations, evidence based assessments and interventions, clinical skills across bed based or community services
- Demonstrated knowledge of clinical assessment and intervention in chosen discipline
- Strong communication, time management skills and are self-motivated with the ability to work independently or within a team
