We are an established and well-respected law firm with offices in Wagga Wagga and Lockhart.
We are looking to expand our practice and have opportunities for motivated people to join our support team. Previous administration experience in law with a focus on Criminal Law, Litigation and/or Conveyancing will be an advantage but is not a requirement.
About the Role
This is an outstanding opportunity to join an inclusive and friendly workplace, dedicated to excellence and efficiency. The successful candidate will work closely with other support staff to assist our solicitors on a day-to-day basis.
This role will include:-
- General administration tasks including opening files, preparing cost agreements, billing and filing utilising LEAP Software.
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients.
- Preparing and drafting legal documents.
- Dictation and transcription.
- Conveyancing tasks including:-
- liaising with agents, creation of electronic contracts and online searches through Infotrack.
- Creation of digital conveyancing transactions in PEXA.
- Compiling and creating digital briefs.
- Filing and serving Court documentation.
About You
The successful candidate will:-
- Exhibit motivation and have a good eye for detail.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients.
- Possess strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Adobe.
- Have solid organisational skills and demonstrate the ability to prioritise work
- Be able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Previous experience with LEAP and PEXA is highly desirable, however, not a requirement.
